        Both LD measures = 12.34V

That would appear OK. Low is bad.

Budm, can you think of any way to easily test the high voltage AC?

Do you think I have pretty much narrowed down to the power supply? There is also another cable (blue/white wires) running from the backlight converter board (what I've been calling it anyway) across the TV to the left side to a connector (I assume there is a board underneath the metal shield).

Any luck with other ideas or should I order a new power supply?

If you are handy with a soldering iron hang fire with buying a new psu yet... Narrow it down first and see if its repairable

Re: No Video on my Samsung 55"

Since all the error signals look OK, then we have to troubleshoot this power supply/inverter output section, but just to be sure in case the error signal happens so fast and we did not see it, I would ground the FB pins to the chassis through 100 Ohms resistor and see what happen.
What is the P/N of this power supply/inverter board? BNXX-XXXXX
You can test and see if the high voltage is present for second by using CFL like this.

Just touch the probe to the high voltage out put terminal, it should flash the lamp in your hand.

I'm good with soldering are there parts that I can just replace to see if it fixes the board without having to test the HV. It would be easier to get the CAPS or other components then trying to buy a CFL and do the test...

so are there any components I should replace on this board? I am thinking of just buying a new board...

I have a the same tv and it sometimes goes pink and snowy then pops back into normal operation, i first thought it could be hdmi cables but it still has done this , but no set time or reasoning i was wondering is this a common occurrence and if so anyone know what the issue could be
