I have a Maxent 50" plasma model MX-50HPT51
No display black screen power light turns green from standby but on the ctrl board underneath the main board I had a flashing green light.
started by checking fuses and I found all were fine except the one on the ysus which was then replaced.
powered it on again and the power supply made a strange buzzing sound not loud or very long and still no display. the green flashing light didn't flash on the ctrl board anymore however still no display. the power supply has a small riser board on it and it has an led that flashes green 8 times then repeats.
the power supply is model: LJ44-00136A board number PS-50W1-STD
I have not measured any voltages as I am still not very good with that although I am learning.
I am thinking either bad ysus or buffer board or bad power supply or all.
not sure where to go from here.
