Dear all
Philips LCD model 47PFL8404 had a blown high voltage cap across the inverter transformer output (33pF 6kV). Replaced and inverter operates.
Unfortunately it won't operate continously. It stops after 1 minute to 1 hour.
Is there a modification or service bulletin available to fix this?
I have measured the other 2 HV caps and they are spot on value.
Perhaps they have intermittent shorts?
What does the expert panel say?
