Apple Macbook pro 17" - 820-2914-A

Nice and big machine, from the conditions I have a feeling has been used _very_ much. It boots and apparently runs, but no chime sound and no image on screen. Anyone knows where I should concentrate to start with ?
I couldn't find any board view file around and I guess it's pretty rare..anyone ? Thanks for help

I can hold on for a few days but definetly I'll have to buy it unless someone wants to share it. I already have the schematics though, thanks. Any advice on where to buy ?
