I found your Forum on the search for help regarding Mac G4 1.42 Ghz MDD
Got them for £30.-,said power Unit failed.
Failed already a Month earlier and got replaced.
Now,i have a 1.25 Ghz,fully working,so i swapped the logic Board with CPU and Cooper Heatsink, with new Creme on CPU
When i push power Button Light comes on and goes out with releasing them. After a short While fan comes on and goes to Hurricane Mode.
Now,i reseated Ram (2 gb),Pci card and CPU when swaping over.
Battery removing or/and pressing the black Button on the Board makes no Difference.Changing Hard drive also makes no Difference.
Checking Logicboard,CPU card with Magnifying Glass showed me nothing bad.
Capacitors seems good.
well,now
Anyone having an Idea what i could do net?
thanx in Advance
+ Just opened the old Powewr Unit which was replaced a Month ago and Fuse is gone.
Now the Question why
And,is the Fuse o the other after a Month gone too,but where the Logicboard runs now was a other Logicboard running without problem.
What were a common fault for blowing the Fuse?
