    Not all blue USB connectors and cables are USB 3.0

    From what I know, the colour of USB 3.0 connectors and cables is blue.
    But some manufacturers, most notably Netgear, use blue USB connectors which do not have the contacts for USB 3.0.
    Also, there are some blue USB cables which do not have the contacts for USB 3.0.
    My first choice in quality Japanese electrolytics is Nippon Chemi-Con, which has been in business since 1931... the quality of electronics is dependent on the quality of the electrolytics.

    I don't know that it's really part of the standard.

      There are black USB 3.0 cables too.
