    Re: Case studies

    Hi friends,
I had a problem on HP Probook 450 G2 Laptop. The charger indicator ( Orange light ) was blink. I checked 19V line and FETs Everything working fine. I replaced the charging IC BQ24736 by BQ24725 ( Checked Datasheet was Same ). But no use its doing the same. I check The DC/DC Converter ( 3V /5V). checked LDO 3V is ok. but on LDO 5V is showing 3.98V and the output coils( 3v/5v ) not showing and voltages. So i try to find the replacement for RT8243AZQW. But i couldn't find and finally i ordered it on ebay. after two days i got free time to check this again. I check all resistors and capacitors around RT8243AZQW chip. Finally i found PR321 ( 499K ) was opened. I replaced it now the laptop working fine.

        Hp 15-r001ne
Power on instant off. No display.
No shorting, RAM and all enclosure OK.
Reprogrammed 9012 and BIOS, system works fine.

I think you may be attempting to duplicate the intent of this forum on your thread. So I think no one would be interested.

                    Sony laptop (forgot model)
Problem: power on but sometime display sometime no display.
If display comes bios post produce error "Resource Conflict -PCI in slot 01 bus:08, device:03, function:00"

Solution: Removed card reader ic, problem solved.
