when checking all 4 components the readings ranged from 0.93 to 0.95 on 3 components, whereas on the other component, it stayed on 1

You have bad transformer with open high voltage winding (the one that shows '1' on your meter..
Since you are working on two of the same model, test the other 1504 you are working on or just swap the transformer.

He cant do swap, the other 1504 has different transformers. He may be able to
swap inverter boards but I dont know if they are compatible.

Perhaps best to leave that until we can see if we can get the other 1504 working.

the other 1504 has different boards as it is an older model with the same model number, that's why I named them with the manufacturing date.

ok so I have noticed another 5 leaked caps which I did not see before. I replaced them and for some reason there is still something wrong as the monitor turns on for 2 seconds and goes black again :S

It was never going to work - you have a faulty inverter transformer as Budm advised.
As it is on the power board the only repair is to replace the transformer replace the power supply board or do a workround bypassing the inverter section with an inverter board. - a bit complicated and for a 15" monitor probably not worth the effort. We dont even know yet of the bulbs are good.
You are not having much luck or good news at the moment.

yeah it seems like it from my ignorance, can the inverter transformer be replaced with another one? maybe with the LG's?
The bulbs are fine as I tried them with the HP hehe.

I do that most of the time.- was that relative the using a transformer from your other monitor or was it something else - No you cant use a transformer
from the other boards.

Right - Check the faulty transformer again. If still bad take it off the board and test again.
Search the internet for sp1 8tt00006 or just 8tt00006 see if anyone is selling them and make a note of any other boards/monitors they are fitted to

Problem persists. Readings as follow:
938, 916, 950, 1

Took the bad transformer off the board and the reading remained the same.

Time for some research or maybe i'll will get my hands on another bad monitor with similar transformers and swap.

Yes - that was the plan, however you may struggle to find anything. If we cant then
perhaps something like this would work. Do you have access to ebay?

Not sure how to fit it - I imagine taking the voltage after the Pico fuse for the power at the same time cutting off the power to the inverter section of the board. There will
also be a dim wire to sort anyway something to think about.

If you can get one cheap its always handy to have to test bulbs. There are some Buy it nows but have not checked prices.
