    Dell 2007FP vs 2007WFP inverter

    Hi,

I'm looking for a replacement inverter for my faulty 2007FP inverter.
I was only able to find inverters that were disassembled from 2007WFP.

The boards have the same number: 4H.L2J04.A01

The chips have two numbers on them:
1J.26061.001 is the same on both.

The number below it on mine is 4001R703015/4001R703003
    and on the 2007WFP it's 4001R650007.

    Does it matter?

    Thanks!
    Shmulik

Thank you for providing links to pictures. It is a welcome change from those who won't even tell us what model TV or monitor they have.

No, it doesn't matter. The first four digits (4001) are significant. The rest of the numbers indicate a production lot, manufacturing date, etc.

One minor correction - those are not 'chips', they are transformers.

The link you provided is all Chinese so I can't tell for sure. It looks like a company called Dong Wong or something similar to that. I have tried to order things from them. Their web site did not work. I ended up trying to order through email and thankfully used PayPal for the payment . They never sent my order and the only way I got my money back was a complaint filed through PayPal. There are other more reputable dealers on ebay.
Check with this company. I have never used them, but they seem to have lots of tranformers. http://www.electronica-usa.com/Merch...egory_Code=SMD

Here is another supplier. They have been around for a long time. http://www.lcdparts.net/T.aspx

I've used Electronica-USA and found them reliable.

Re: Dell 2007FP vs 2007WFP inverter

I hate to revive such an old thread, but I'm looking for a 4001r transformer and am coming up with nothing. (symptoms: 2sec to black, board looks like this) I have a 2007WFP.

There seem to be 3 different types floating around on the internet:
              4001K
              4001Q
              4001Y

For the life of me I cannot locate any 4001R's. I saw here that the resistance figures are different between the Q and the K - not by much, but enough to where they would probably be mis-matched between the other two that are on the inverter board.

See this thread for more information about the 2007FPW. I am unable to measure resistance due to a faulty DMM, however the transformer itself seems to be making arcing noises associated with the flickering before black.

Any ideas of where to look for a new one? I already spent 10$ re-capping the power supply and inverter board. I don't want to throw another 15$ at it to find out the alternate transformers won't work well with the rest of the system.

Re: Dell 2007FP vs 2007WFP inverter

Wow! member all these years and 1 post - perhaps you can update your profile with Country and Mains Voltage.
Cant see any on ebay so probably your only chance would be to buy a faulty
                monitor with that transformer in.
First though you really need a DMM as it may not be faulty. If it is you could measure the resistances of the the ones you think are ok and try and get a transformer to match.
As I was saying it may not be faulty. If it is just an acrcing sound you hear it
may be from faulty wiring to the ccfls this would also trip the off.
Another thing is to check the soldering on the transformers they quite often need resoldering.
Pictures of the top and bottom of YOUR inverter board would help.

We can help a lot more if you please post good clear pictures of the whole chassis, and then pictures of each board, front and back and close up of connectors, (max resolution 2000x2000 and 2MB) using the manage attachments button, which is found by clicking "go advanced" under quick reply.

If you don't mind buying an used, but tested one, I can contact a member here and see if he will sell you the inverter transformer. His Dell repair went badly so he might have spare parts?

Reviving an old thread, however I am in need of a 4001R transformer for my Dell 2007fpb

I have no problem with a used one if the resistance is good.

Seems like my good ones are reading about 1.06K ohm on secondary and .39 on primary
I assume these are either 1.1K/.4 ohm or 1.1K/.5 ohm transformers.... anyone know???

                      Thanks

Any idea if I were to replace all three transformers with the Samsung TM-0918 ???? it is a 1K/.3 ohm transformer
