Led tv, diodes for backlight 6916L-1295A

Hello guys, I have Grunding 32'' tv with busted backlight, sound is ok, lcd shows picture under flashlight light... Anyhow, tested the backlight leds, 5 of them are shorted, NC, or producing barely visible light.

There are 3 led strips marked 94V-0 32"HD Rev 1.0. A1-TYPE 6916L-1295A, can someone tell what kind of bulk leds to buy from ebay, i would prefer leds than complete led strips (price, cough cough).

    Thanks and all the best!

What is the model and the maker of the LCD PANEL? SAMSUNG or LG?
Please upload the Pictures of the LED strip and the LEDs.

Need better pictures with lens off. They are probably 2835 3v with anode on the large pad. Here is link that will help http://alpengeist-tvrepair.blogspot....ces-tools.html

Re: Led tv, diodes for backlight 6916L-1295A

Thanks for the replies guys, i did measure leds for current and voltage. Single led draws 400mA at 3.6V.
Can you suggest which one to pick in order to replace them...
Never been replacing them, is there something i should keep an eye on when ordering, except anode/kathode position.

                  Hi dskall,
Thanks for helping me with this issue. Yeah, your link was very helpfull, learned me a lot.

The diodes i need draw 400mA @ 3.6V when connected to a power supply, the large pad is a + (anode) but i have a few misleads looking at aliexpress. Things that are confusing are:

                  Forward Current (IF ): 400mA
                  Forward Voltage (VF): 3.05-3.65V(250mA)

Those are the led info from the aliexpress from your link... Will they draw 400mA or 250mA, thing that confuses me is that 250mA written behind the Forward voltage

Did you use current limiter when testing the LED with the power supply?

Hi Budm, yeah i did, and even with maximum current set on bench power supply
                      (5A) LED still draws 400mA.
