    list of crap caps?

Is there a list of known cheap/crap caps? I'm looking to recap a few boards, but aside from the rubycons that look good, I don't know what other caps were quality to begin with. Here is a list of brands found on the 2 boards that I have inspected so far:

    TEAPO
    RUBYCON
    NICHICON
    G-LUXON
    JACKCON
    PETON
    TAYEH

    Any help is appreciated.

    Thanks,
    -Eric

Teapos are fine too, just don't expose them to extreme heat. If the cooling is good they meet their specs just fine.

I personally disagree. I see lots of failed cheapo teapos.
I love putting bad caps and flat batteries in fire and watching them explode!!

No wonder it doesn't work! You installed the jumper wires backwards
