Replace 47uf 35V cap with 47uf 50V cap?

    Replace 47uf 35V cap with 47uf 50V cap?

    recapping a monitor with bad caps. i shouldn't have any problems doing this right? i don't have any of the 47uf 35v caps with me

    Yes, you can go higher in voltage generally without problems as long as it fits height and diameter wise.

      In addition, if the the old cap was low ESR, make sure the new cap is low ESR with like characteristics.

        Okay thanks for the reply! I'll make sure. The ones I'm replacing are capxon kf

        The ones i'm using to replace have higher ripple. for the capxon it says 1.5 impedence, and for the ky for impedance it says for 20C 0.7 and for -10C 2.8 what does that mean?
