    Samsung 2493hm Black screen

Hi, so my problem started with my Samsung 2493hm screen going going black and the blue LED blinking. So i searched around and figured it must be the power supply. I ended up replacing all the caps (None looked swollen). I also replaced the db804 diode since there were burnt marks around it and it was cracked in the middle.

So now the screen still doesn't turn on, but the LED is solid blue. (Which i figured meant that the power supply is ok). But when i measure the outgoing voltage (in picture 3), where the voltage should be 5.3V it is only reads 0.44V. But the pin that says "S_B" reads 5.19 and the "PSOM" reads 3.17. And the outgoing voltage (in picture 7) should be 24V but I don't get any reading.

So i included pictures and my multimeter and hopefully someone can help me.

I can provide more pictures and reading if needed. Thanks

OK, you need to remove all those brown glues and see if any of the component leads are eaten away, then also check the rectangular blue cap (12n, CM812?) to see if it still has capacitance of.012uF, this cap is part of the 24V SMPS.
This will happen if you do not remove the glue:

Thanks for the tip, but unfortunately I managed to break it even more. When i went to put it back i forgot it was plugged in and when i placed the metal bracket I managed to short something and now the blue light doesn't even turn on.

Is it worth buying a new power supply, or just a new screen? (It looks like the board would be around 60 ~ 100$)
      Thanks
