50PX4D-EB works but bad picture.

Works but a bad picture. On powering up i've heard a crackle and a pop that sounded to come from the ZSUS.
VS and VA measure fine.
Searching around i am suspecting the IPM module. Putting my hand on the heatsinks on the YSUS and ZSUS the top ones are warm the bottom ones are cold.
Would this suggest that the YSUS has failed as well as the ZSUS ?

I would guess that it's only the ZSUS based on the first picture. A failed YSUS on these 50X3 based LG plasmas would almost always result in a no picture scenario.

Thanks, yes the fuse is fine. I'm going to pull the module off later.

I managed to remove the top module from the board but couldn't see any damage through the clear silicone.
The bottom module had black silicone inside so I couldn't see if there was any damage.

Managed to find a ZSUS delivered for a good price and this has fixed the issue.
