So here I was excited to get this monitor working since I got it free. It didn't turn on at all, so replaced the caps, and it turned on and as I was about to shout for joy....................... lines...... Seems like the panel is shot? Tried re-setting cables, etc...

Re: SP2208WFP - Bad Panel?
Has the panel had water damage?
It may be reversible by adjusting the T-con/panel board variable pot. Sometimes this effect appears when the pixels are incorrectly driven. Please do not PM me with questions! Questions via PM will not be answered. Post on the forums instead!
