HP g6-2000 Series White Screen

A client of mine gave me an HP g6-2000 Series with a broken/hurt screen cable. The screen cable's have been short-cuted for sure, here is a photo:


I have replaced the screen cable with a new one, and also a new screen, but i get "white" on screen. At external screen no signal at all.

So, the issue must be of the board. With optical observation i dont see anything burned on board.

Might anyone knows what i should check ?

Only problem is, hi dosent have signal on external display which means probably defected gpu.Before trying to reflow anything check all voltages cpu,gpu,pch,ram.Post card woud be good for diagnose correct issues

usually on hp laptop its hard to force displayed to external monitor, till internal was ok first..

I agree with nixi22.

The point is of link what I was give to you is step 4. This step explain about degutji has been solved the problem after checking voltage/signal on mobo, then he know what causing the problem.

Reflow or replace the chips is the last attempt to fix

Might there is available a schematic of that board or anyone can show me the components that might are faulty ?

Because at that reference there is a different board /schematic.
