Re: talk to me about BGA rework inspection stations

    http://www.solder.net/

Check out the link above. I've dealt with this company about having a motherboard cpu socket replaced. Ultimately, the economics dictated that it was better to replace than repair.

They sell equipment and offer training in addition to doing electronics repair work. Ask what equipment they offer for your application and then check with all their competitors to get a feel for what's available. Then you might be able to pick up the equipment used at substantial savings.

    Good luck.

Apparently not spam. The OP emailed me and cleared it up. Legit thread.

Legit or not, the title is 100% misleading.

It should be : I am suggesting you buying soldering goods from the shop of my uncle.

Interesting. I guess what got me is that it was his first post (and the other two users in the original thread). Sorry about that.

Re: talk to me about BGA rework inspection stations

why not post in my thread instead of making a new one?

As I stated in my thread, my company went with SMT Tools BGA300 scope and I will be using my existing IR/Hot Air station.

              A PM would have sufficed.
