    Samsung LCD TV LN32A300J1D

    Hi Friends.
Can some one direct me to where I could get the service manual for this Samsung TV?? The T-Con bd is bad as the AS15-G IC is very hot and the Gamma Voltages are not in the normal sequence. The screen is white and the picture is faded. These voltages are correct I think :Vcc 4.8V, Vdd 3.3V, Vgh 20.0V, Vgl -5.6V, Vda 13.7V.
    Thanks, AFA

Have you considered replacing the AS15 chip ? Sounds like it has failed if the voltages are off.

Check the test points at the AS15 chip, they should be contentiously dropping or increasing. If there is one voltage off, then the chip is bad.
      They should be labeled GM1, GM2, GM3,....
It would help to post the board model number, or take a clear picture of it and post it here. There are 9 different T-con boards for this TV.

Thanks for the replies. The AS15-G chip is definitely the problem, it is extremely hot. Though I have some skill using a soldering iron I don't think I could do such a tiny job. I don't have a 'hot air' station. The GAMMA voltages are haphazard and not continuous up or down.
The T-CON board No. is V315B1-C01. If some one has a board and willing to sell I could purchase.
The symptoms are a white screen with a negative picture affecting the OSD.

I know this is not a good pic but it is the best I can do for a pic of this T-CON board No. V315B1-C01

What are the numbers on the barcode? Barcode is the PCB asembly part number, the same blank board can be stuffed with different parts to create different PCBA for the needed LCD panel.

I use '35-D013932' in SJ to search:
Here is what SJ shows and the acceptable subs.

Thanks BUDM. This is spot on information. I will order and fit and certainly will give a feedback. It may take me a few weeks to get it here.

                    Re: Samsung LCD TV LN32A300J1D

OK. So I got the T-CON off e-bay and first shot it worked perfectly. I closed the TV up and did a 10hr burn test and all was well.
I must admit though I got another Samsung LN32A330J1D to repair a couple weeks into waiting for the T-CON bd. So I thought great opportunity as they both had same T-Con bd. Well the 300J came on just fine to confirm the diagnosis and was able to repair the Main Bd on the 330J by comparing voltages on both bds and determined that there was cold solder joints on the 330J....So fixed both TVs and Customers happy. Thanks everyone for you valuable help....
