    Looking for Bi-Polar 1.8uF 250Volt & 1uF 100Volt

    Looking for Bi-Polar 1.8uF 250Volt & 1uF 100Volt also Bi-Polar.

Who makes / sells these values of capacitor?

Interesting - that link is for a "Panasonic 1.8μF Polyester Capacitor (PET) 630 V dc ±10% series ECQE" (Panasonic P/N ECQ-E6185KF)

In terms of performance is it a good idea to change capacitor chemistry from electrolytic to Polyester/Solid?

Am thinking about the implications of this

I now realise the 1.8uF Capacitor is the ring capacitor for the telephones.

Moving away from Bi-Polar electolytics could be quite an improvement - is there a thread comparing the effects of different capacitor chemistries at the same capacitance values?

Kudos and thank you to petehall347 - your suggestion was just what was needed - fantastic results - see https://www.badcaps.net/forum/showth...424#post721424

petehall347 - would you be able to decipher the remaining capacitor codes (like “F152Je., 400MEF1”) or point me in the right direction - are you a Transistor expert? If so please comment on the linked thread.
