I never need more than 1 port up front which can be supplied by a camera card in a floppy slot. A 4 port USB bracket puts the remaining USB ports out back for almost no cost.

I bought a few of these a while ago, removed them from the bracket and cut some holes into a cd-rom faceplate for them.. problem solved and in a much nicer way.

needed alot more usb ports then the system had was in a pinch so thats what we did. i have one of those my self i was thinking of putting in there.

edit also note the aluminum cd rom covers would be a bit hard to cut.
