Desoldering TV IPM Modules

I have a LG Plasma Z-Sus 6871QZH060B that has a shorted IPM I have neverremoved one before. I Added some fresh solder to all the pins then tried my Denon SC-7000 solder sucker gun works. Not all the solder was removed from around the pins on the through hole eyelets. I then used flux and solderwickbut not all of its coming out from around the*pins.My*cutters will not reach under the heat sink to cut the pins to the IC. Some holes are clean others are not no matter what I try. I am not too proud to ask for help.

Use a hair dryer or a heat gun on low setting to pre-heat the pins and solder. It's worked well for me: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y8MNQYXw8E0
