Unknown FX5200 Card with bad caps

Very bad design here. The caps are "Rifeking" and as you can see, 4 of them are touching the heatsink.

The card boots, but there are many little colour squares on the screen. Is it due to bad caps?

Is it going to be fixed after a recap?

And who is the maker of that card?

good chance a recap will fix it.artifacts are the most common result of bad caps on a gpu.
    as for who made it?
best guess is hong kong flyapart video card inc.

I replaced the bulging caps but the artifacts remain.. So I should assume that the gpu or the ram is bad?

Best I can tell that is an older Club 3D (European company) card. And most likely the artifacts will be a memory or GPU issue. You could try underclocking it and see if the artifacts go away.

may be gpu, if you push the ram you usually get a snowstorm.

Is it just me or do the AGP contacts look corroded\extremely dirty?

                Perhaps cleaning them will help.

I have had ethernet and other cards which wouldn't even detect in BIOS and their contacts were nowhere near as dirty as the ones on this card look.

It's because of the digital cam's flash.
