    Dell n5010 dg15-09909-1 mb

No apparent shorting on the mb. no 3v/5v present. I replaced PU4601(51125) and replaced sio still same. Pin23 of 51125 is not giving 3v powergood signal. I injected 3v from psulab , no componenet heated up.

On ething i have noticed is that resistance connected to pin23 of 51125 shows 2.2k whwereas it should so 97k approx. If vi remove the ic resistance rating becomes 97.

I have tried putting up 51125 from working mobo and after soldering the ic resistance shows 97k. the moment i give power to mobo resistance shows 2.2k.

    What can be wrong??

You have LDo voltage, around the power IC 51125 .....3.3v and 5V found...if not change 51125 Ic ...

Thanks for your reply razu. The problem is i dont have 3v/5v on this mobo. I have tried changing the following ic's
      01. 51125
      02. 51116
      03 charging ic
      04. Sio

Still no 3v/5v. I have checked all the mosfets-nothing abnormal and my power board is tested ok.

Checked resistors near all ic's and seems to match with schematics.

Wondering why 3v/5v power ok signal is not enabled on 51125.

Can anubody guide me the preconditions to enable 3v/5v pok signal on 51125??
