Can someone please help me identify this ic, please check image. It came from an unknown laptop brand. Owner only sent me the board and charger. After pressing power button led lights up and goes off after 2 seconds. This ic is heating up. hope someone knows. Thanks

oh by the way. prints on this chip is 412A 0945 Z793. thanks again

That is an SC412A from Semtech

thanks very much kevspit. Now I have 2 motherboards here which have same problem, can't find parts locally so gonna stock this one first. But I'll try to salvage from other laptop if possible
