Stop!!!!! Immediately stop using those replacement caps!! They are unreputable and can do more harm than good! Also, it is never a good idea to use any electronic device with bad caps. It can kill the board dead.
Don't buy those $10 PSU "specials". They fail, and they have taken whole computers with them.

My computer doubles as a space heater.

Asus Q550LF (Old main laptop, 2014-2022) - Decommissioned and stripped due to a myriad of problems, the main battery bloating being the final nail in the coffin.

The problem is they are counterfeit. The good brands are Rubycon,Nichicon and Panasonic. What you have is a counterfeit copy of the Nichicon brand.

The failed caps look like Toshin Kogyo ATWB or ATWY series. You should replace ALL of these capacitors. I have seen tons of them fail on 775 boards, they are very bad series, I've even seen them take out a chipset. What series nichicon caps do you have?

^ They do that so as to get it to outlast the warranty period. And possibly because ultra low ESR lytics have been going out of production for a while now and because polymers have much better conductivity.

And yes, TK's ATWY and ATWB series are egregiously bad. Worse than KZG and KZJ and only a notch above Sacon FZ/GSC.
