I have a fx5500 in basically my file server that has blown a cap. From a bit a research around here it seems the caps are the sacon brand that seems to love to die. So here I am trying to figure a suitable replacement. The caps are fz5c 16 volts 1000 micro F. From some data sheet I came across it lists the impedance at 21 ohms and ripple current at 1.79 amps.
Based off matching those specs I came across http://www.chemi-con.com/index.php?o...s&product=2772 which is 16 volt 1000 micro F impedance of 23 ohms and ripple current of 1.82. It is 8 mm taller but that is fine with me as there is an open card space below it so its not going to work for me.
So the basic question is will that work or are there any recommendations that will work.
