    RP=can I replace 1500ul 10v caps with 1800ul 10v ??

    Just placed my order this date(04dec2011)
    I ordered 1800ul 10v instead of the 1500ul 10v.
    It's a IbeeM 13R8926 MB that is prone to bulgers
    I bought some caps from a local guy and even those bulged
    within a year.
    Any advice appreciated.

    That should not be a problem.
    Low ESR caps are +/-20% for uF anyway and 1800 is 1500+20%.
    - And, uF goes down as caps age.
    .
    If your caps keep bulging either you are using the wrong kind of caps [meaning not low enough ESR] or the PSU is bad or you have heat/cooling problems.
    [Or a combination of those.]

      That's a relief . . .

      I'm putting this MB in vertical case.
      I've always used oversized CPU heatsinks and industrial
      type cooling fans.
      The old desktop case PSU had a few bulgers.
      But I didn't put 2+2 together till you mentioned it!!
