Intel Thermal Analysis Tool - not just for notebooks!

This is a good tool for testing how decent your cooling system and heatsinks in your computer, especially when overclocking, or for "silent" HTPCs with no CPU fan.
It can measure the temperature of each core independently, as well as load each core individually at different workload levels.

If this link becomes broken, do a Google search for "intel thermal analysis tool".
My first choice in quality Japanese electrolytics is Nippon Chemi-Con, which has been in business since 1931... the quality of electronics is dependent on the quality of the electrolytics.

It just says "invalid processor" for me - on a Pentium D 2.8GHz

TAT only works on Pentium Ms and Core series chips. AFAIK, it also requires an Intel chipset; it doesn't work on my C2D/nF650i desktop anyway.
