hi guys got a led40 made by bush and has a 17IPS19-4 vestal psu

prob i got is the tv turnss on makes a clicking sound stays on for about 1 minute with a dark ish screen then turns off then back on

What have you tested?

What equipment do you have?

Condition of the TV? Has it ever been subject to a power surge or other fault condition to your knowledge? Did you buy it faulty for repair or is it yours from the start?

had it to repair my self so not sure on history of the tv

Your not telling us what you have tested we need to know if the psu gets standby and if the pfc is running ect ?

tv comes on but screen is a blackish grey colour and makes a clicking sound then returns to standy .not sure on what to test to be honest noob to all this

So, I think you mean the backlight comes on. When the TV goes back into standby does the power light go out?

no power light goes red

We know that, let me rephrase what Tom said the backlight is what lights the screen, so does the screen come on the turn off ?
