I think that's very very odd.
But often times those max ram limitations are BS. My Lenovo only supports 8GB yet 16GB runs just fine, for example.

further research has come up with the GL960 as supporting 2GB and a 533max bus, and a 965G supporting 4gb /w a 667 bus

CPU-Z shows me to have a 965GM graphics but a GL960 chipset

I have 3 gigs, and cpu-z (and bios) show it to be in dual channel, and memtest shows up 3gb without errors

how can I have a 1gb and 2GB stick and both report dual channel? anyone know what is going on? This makes no sense whatsoever

(and this is the latest bios)

Well I got the 7300 today and it detects it just fine. now to just arctic silver 5 it. I don't understand why its saying its running the memory at 667. I have the sspec for the northbridge (SLA5V) and it shows to be a GL960, which should not be capable of a 667 memory

I dont' know whats going on here, anyone know?

wow, maxed out at 88C. my research turns up this normal. The shutdown temp is like 105C

watched me some 3SM videos on vevo 1080p and noticed a little lag (CPU did spike 100% some of the time). 720p no lag whatsoever. this is awesome. Now just to get another stick of ram and a new battery

THUNDERHUMPER!

this thing does not like 2x2gb. In the bios splash screen it shows 4096, but in the cmos setup, it shows 3072

and windows bluescreens. I'm going to have to keep my 3 gigs

oh well, thanks for the nice price on the memory ami, I think I have a friend to sell it to for a tiny profit
