GF5200 AGP-Bad Caps and PCB discoloration

I need some help finding suitable replacements for 3 Ltec 820uF 6.3V LMB, 1 bulging.

    There are also 2 820uF 6.3V KZG and a tiny GSC 100uF 16V.

There is noticeable PCB discoloraton due to heat, bellow the GPU. Is this normal?

This is a passively cooled card so yes it's normal for the PCB to change color after years of use.

I would make sure to replace the KZG as well.

    A working TV? How boring!

That's a tiny heat sink for an FX5200. I would either replace it with a bigger heat sink, add a 40mm fan or put a PCI hamster wheel blower next to it.
I love putting bad caps and flat batteries in fire and watching them explode!!

No wonder it doesn't work! You installed the jumper wires backwards

I got the card partially recapped. I replaced 2 Ltec 820uF 6.3V LMB with 2 Panasonic FJ 1000uF 6.3V that I got from a dead ATI card.

I will test the card more and if it is ok I will also replace the 820uF 6.3V KZGs with Panasonic FJ 1000uF 6.3V.

The card looks to be made by Asus (the polarity markings for the caps are backwards). That would explain the small heat sink.

I noticed that, but googling VGA150158B gives Point Of View as the maker.

Actually, I have a Point Of View 6600GT. I'll check that one later. Maybe POV do it too.

It is, in fact, an Asus. Asus V9520-X

It says "V9520-X" on the white sticker to the right of the RAM. At first I googled for V9620 cause it looked like that.. found out there are multiple "V9520" cards. A pic of the -X version nailed it. Looked at the context of the website and it was listed as V9520-X. Rechecked the label, and indeed.. there's the X I thought was not important

Looks like Anus was embarrassed or something. They hid the logo underneath the heatsink lol

That explains it. I never noticed the backwards polarity markings on my POV 6600GT.

On my card there is a sticker in that area that says Point Of View. Just checked.

                      ASUS re-badge?
