How to choose the right inductor?

The other day my GPS had and interaction with my water bottle. Upon investigation it appears I lost and inductor. The surface mount one that needs replaced just has 470 on the top. How do I order a new one and know that it is the correct component. I have pics attached.

clean the entire area with IPA and a brush till it's clean, then look again - that chip is not going to work like that.
