PHILIPS 190S7FS turns off

Hello to all badcapers

Model : PHILIPS 190S7FS

Problem: The monitor turns off after some time of use (20-50 min) and then i have to wait some minutes to turn it on, because if i press the power button directly doesn't goes on.
Moreover the other buttons (menu,adjust etc) on the monitor doesn't work,when it's on.
Ιt's cheaper to buy a new monitor or buying spare parts?
Any thoughts?

Could be a heat problem or caps related or a bit of both.
When you first switch on from cold heat the power supply gently with a hairdrier
to see if it goes off quicker.
We have no idea how much a new monitor or parts are in Greece your only hope of a reply to that will be if another Greek member looks in. ( Dont see many)

We can help a lot more if you please post good clear pictures of the whole chassis, and then pictures of each board, front and back (in the same orientation) and close up of connectors, (max resolution 2000x2000 and 2MB) using the manage attachments button, which is found by clicking "go advanced" under quick reply.

I try with the way with the headdrier but with no luck, so i suppose is cap. problem.I suppose i can't measure the caps with multimeter...so i'll need a ESR meter.I can't see any bad sign of resistance or cap with the eye

Perhaps check the soldering on the back with a magnifying glass one or two look a bit odd and in anycase reflow all the ones on the inverter transformers and the big yellow transformer. Usually buttons not working relate to the Main board or the button board
(if there is one) Post some pics and I will have a look. Check for a stuck button on the button board.
