Cap Height ?

Caps I pulled from the board are 8mmx24mm, 3.5mm spacing, 3.6v 1800uF.

Caps I'd like to put in are identical except they are 8mmx20mm, so basically 4mm shorter in height.

Will the shorter height be an issue ?

As long as the can fits and the ESR of the replacement cap is the same or better you'll be fine.
