Hi,
this tv came with a backlight problem where you could barely see the picture with the flashlight trick.
With an ESR meter the two usual suspect caps, that have been know to fail in this model, were found to have very high ESR.
I replaced them and the TV works flawlessly except for what you'll see in the pictures below (dont mind the "no signal message").
I'm wondering if anybody had any pointers as to what could be the problem.
PS. The white light spots on the lcd are a product of the camera I took the picture with, the actual display is produced normally except of the black distortion of what should be a sharp black edge of the display
