I have a BenQ e2220HD monitor that turns on for 2-3 seconds but remains black after that. But I have seen some flickers of menu when I continually press the side buttons (brightness, menu, input, ect...). 1 or 2 flickers of menu change sometimes, not all the time. I have electrical experience and did a lot of research. BenQ apparently has a bad reputation for shorted transistors. C5707's that need to be checked, resoldered, or replaced. I am new to tv/monitor repairs but I would like to get this problem fixed. I can't tell which are the transistors. Pictures of ones I've seen of BenQ models do not look like what is on my board. The only ones that look like transistors all have heat sinks on them. I have taken the monitor apart to examine the boards and checked for cold joints or any visible bad components. Put it all back together with it working the same with the same problem. Before I jump into this I was wondering what is the best way to start. Being it BenQ I think the transistor issue. Can anyone point out to me where the transistors are? I have some pictures and a video of my monitor problem. Any other tips or starting points would be a great help thank you for your time.
