Samsung SyncMaster 740 N- Wierd Problem

I've a some weird problem with my 4 1/2 year old Samsung SyncMaster 740 N. Its a 17" LCD screen and its acting strange. The screen was flickering a lot along with it half or sometimes even the whole screen is going black. There is no fixed line delineating it from the working regions.

Now the screen does not work at all while just starting with a glow in the middle against a dark background and slowly growing in size.. I have put a video on youtube if someone is interested. Not sure how to describe this problem..

    1) Post clear focused top down pictures of all your boards following my sig file below exactly. We want the picture compositions like so

    https://www.badcaps.net/forum/showpo...94&postcount=1

    2) Do you have a multimeter and know how to use it? Also post a picture of it.
    --- begin sig file ---

If you are new to this forum, we can help a lot more if you please post clear focused pictures (max resolution 2000x2000 and 2MB) of your boards using the manage attachments button so they are hosted here. Information and picture clarity compositions should look like this post.

We respectfully ask that you make some time and effort to read some of the guides available for basic troubleshooting. After you have read through them, then ask clarification questions or report your findings.

Please do not post inline and offsite as they slow down the loading of pages.

    --- end sig file ---

      Thanks for the reply..

I haven't yet opened the monitor up. And I don't have a multimeter as well.

I will put up the pictures tomorrow as its too late in the night here but what is the probability of this being a lcd panel/pixel malfunction?
