Rockguy it will help if u can use some chip quick to remove any smd chip without destroying the pad , it has a lower melting point and stay liquid long enough to remove the chip .I use it to remove large chips . works very well

Well, I decided to just solder the new FET to what remained. It seems to be working fine. TV powers up and comes to the setup as a new tV screen. The problem is you need the remote and I don't have one. I can't believe there isn't a select button somewhere on the set itself. Anybody know a way I can do this without a remote?
