    HP Pavilion F1904 flashes on

    Hi there

I got this HP Pavilion F1904 which turns on and shows picture for about 5 seconds, but then shuts off (or goes to power saving mode)
What could be the problem? I already recapped the PSU of the monitor (was full of Crapxons) even though they weren't bulging.
    That didn't change anything.

Sounds like 2 seconds to black. The following post is a Guide to Troubleshooting "2 Seconds to Black."

Issues can include bad capacitors, bad transformers, bad ccfl's or ccfl wiring, bad transistors, etc.
