Was 2 bad caps (1000uF 16V) changed to 2200uF 16V GC Samxons. SMPS is well designed and have plenty of heatsink, no hot spots as it runs cool and mostly unloaded only big load is very intermittent duty due to big 1250 rpm motor only active when printing. Other high speed motor is mirror scanner and it is not that high load either just high rpm.
This printer chassis is shared with many other models as well. This is only one I ever seen one with bad cap. Not temp or any causes, just bad electrolyte that made one cap to bloat while good one stayed flat.
