    eec-iv bad caps

    complaint was random stalling,no start,running dead rich.
    one was leaking the others open.from a 94 ford f150.nichicon pc are bad for leaking.

      What are the date codes on the Nichicon PC Series units?
      I've seen some series of leaking Rubycon, Nichicon and possibly Elna and Panasonic units from the late-80s to early-90s having a leakage problem, possibly from defective bungs.
      My first choice in quality Japanese electrolytics is Nippon Chemi-Con, which has been in business since 1931... the quality of electronics is dependent on the quality of the electrolytics.
