Still no feedback from my previous forum question on my Sceptre monitor so tested further. After replacing all the caps in the Power Supply and getting a voltage drop when plugged into the Interface Brd, I took off the cover to the Interface Brd and can't see any caps. Attached is a picture of main area. Tested the voltage with the plug in the board and got 1-4v pulse reading off the red or green wires. When the power supply wire is unplugged at the board interface I get 4-5v pulse red wires and steady 2 v green wire coming from the plug, whose wires come from the power supply. Since I get a difference when the Interface Brd is in the circuit, doesn't that indicate that the IB is bad?
I am too green in this testing to do more with the IB. Any help would be appreciated.
