toshiba regza no picture

hey guys n gals..ive a toshiba 32AV555D that will not display any picture..it has audio & the backlights are on..it will display programme guide & menu etc but no picture.. ive tried downloading schematics from electrotanya but no pdf in rar filesthx

these are best pics as no natural light..heres 1 of t-con..is the smd with 202 the fuse if so that tested ok on continuity..thx

If it displays the OSD overlay - i.e. menus - then the problem is with the main board.

Check all LDOs on the main board, and any fuses you can see.

I cant find any schematics for this mainboard & there is no available replacement so im gonna have to put it away till i get some more time as i dont know where to start probing etc..thx

You know what an LDO looks like?

I'm going to Leeds Uni in about 5 months so keep a stash of TVs you can't fix for me .

You've got 4 pins on the bottom plus a fat tab on the top. The fat tab is probably the LDO output voltage. It is also used to heatsink the regulator.

Ive taken 1/4 pics of both sides

the tab pins readings..
IC951=from OL to 3.27vdc
IC950=same reading as IC951
IC602=from OL to 3.28vdc

What do you mean by OL, what range did you have meter on?

Got fluke77 on VDC quick O.L on display then the reading..thx

That is normal for an autoranging meter. Assuming those regulators contain "33" in their part #, they are fine.

Are there any other regulators? Like these:

Anything you see that looks like those could be a regulator, so note down the part # and test the pins.
