Packard Bell Maestro 190W psu problem

    Hi !!!
I have a problem with my monitor , I checked the pins on psu (mirage electronics pi-190dtlb) without the main board connected ,volts are ok ( pins 5-6 = ~5v , pins 9-10 = ~28v) and t201 makes a "zzzzz" noise
but with the main board connected, volts on pins fluctuates and the "zzzz" noise on t201 starts and stops continually.

    Thank You in advance

    ps
    sorry for my english :P

Sounds like the startup capacitor to me. Look for a small (usually 47uf) capacitor near the smps control chip. Changing that should fix the problem.

I change the capasitor this morning , it was a 22μF/50V , but continues to do the same thing !!!
Could be a faulty main board and not the psu/inverter ???

You can try and connect another 5V load onto the power board rather than the main board. If another 5V load works, then something on the main board could be dragging down the power board.

I had something like this happen to me. See
