Just bought some Velleman branded capacitors from Maplin ( Jamicon caps but Velleman is the in house packaging it seems). Back of the packet says Made In Europe?! Surely not!

I think they mean that the set was assembled in Europe from Taiwanese caps. But I wonder whey they didn't specify a country. I wonder if they'll be saying "Made on Earth" one of these days.Comment

these days it is popular to write like that. I often see "Made in EU", which is probably allowed due to some EU law.Comment
