Hi there,
I have the M4N82 Deluxe MB. Someone went and jammed a large video card in the bottom Pci-e slot and knocked 3 small VRM Caps off the board. There is now no audio output. The only option I have is the digital output. None of the jacks work and there is no jack recognition either. I'm assuming it's the broken caps that are at fault. I tried soldering in different caps of the same voltage (I think) from another board but no joy. Do you know where I can find actuall replacements. From what I can see, the capacitor in question is: EAO 01 or EA 001 100 16V If someone can identify that I'd really appreciate it. Thank you |

A picture would help , although id guess they are 100uf 16v - did you get the polarity right?
Could be from here http://www.apaq.com.tw/products/ap_conarea01_en.htm |

That's exactly what they look like but instead of 180 they say 100. Can you actually purchase from that sight? I'm sure polarity is right. I copied off the other Asus board. Negative was on the clear side of the 1/2 moo
And so are the ones on the M4n board |

I shouldnt think so, they may have an agent in the us.
I dont know about motherboard caps, these might do but perhaps wait and see if there is any more input or if anyone has a datasheet for your old caps. http://www.digikey.ca/product-detail...3053-ND/758484 |

Yes, those caps would work as replacements. They chemi-con PSA, and are used a lot on motherboards.
