Tonight I Noticed that my Laptop's screen was rocking... I found that the two back screws were loose... But the bottom two were outright MISSING. After plenty of looking, I cannot find either screw...
The problem is that I do not have any more of that size screw... actually, One of my laptops is MISSING a bunch as it is. Aside from cannibalizing old laptops and Ebay, where can I get replacement laptop screws? In bulk? As a kit?

Can you make a picture of which ones you need? I'll send you some next Saturday for the cost of postage (I'm sure an envelope will fit them so it'll be super cheap)...

I'll probably have a few spares from these 2 m6300's that I'm going to make into one...I just haven't gotten around to working on them yet. FWIW RD, the guy I got these 3 from has a bunch more...
...I'm working on it...

If I'm not mistaken, you're probably missing the 2x M4 sized screws holding the display down from the rear? You can buy like packs of 5 to 10 for peanuts on eBay. Service manual will tell you exactly what size they are

The new screws were a fail... the rattled loose due to being slightly undersized

Noted... I just am uneasy about ebay screw kits... I am not sure why, it just doesn't feel right.

Still some of the kits (lots of screws) were under $9.00 with shipping, and that was probably inflated (to Canada) shipping, as I was too lazy to switch from ebay.ca |

Part of it was that I was looking for a bulk kit for future use... yeah, there would be extra screws leftover with the linked kits...
I'll think about it. |
