Unhappy Dell Latitude D610 power issue

I got dell latitude D610 when i connect charger it gets off. i removed power jack. i check resistance of power points its showing normal resistance but when i connect charger it gets off plz help me out

Check for shorted mosfets, a fairly common cause of a dead D610.

Dell D610's were real common for the power switch connections causing this. I just had one last month. they will give no power, but when you tear it down and press on the connector it probably will work.

normally a shorted mosfet or capacitor...check power in from power jack...hardly see a power connector causing the charger to short...most times it will jus cause the unit to refuse to power on....post your results/findings after as i would like to know also
