display problem for Fujitsu ESPRIMO MOBILE V5535

When the machine boots I can access the bios and make the settings I want. after that nothing appears on the screen to see if the desktop is displayed or not. So I want your advice in order to troubleshoot the machine.

first try to hook it up to an external monitor, see if that works.
