I volunteer to help too!
I might not have a reliable amount of time (meaning some days I won't come on at all and some days I'm on for hours, which is already what ends up happending lol)... but I'm happy to help when possible!

All applications for Mod work Visa must be filed with topcat.

(serious offers only).

(not saying anything personal, just informing the thread readers)

Morning chaps - I thought back when new year frivolity was rife it was proposed that
FAQ would not be available to < 100 posters. and the faq section would be cleaned up.

Today there are 2 noob queries and there was one moved a few days ago. Can the <100
not be done?

My hat if off to anyone who would want to be a Mod here. I couldn't do it. Case in point. If I had two friends on BadCaps having a real go at each other I'd have to step in. Now it by no means happens often but I might have to ban a friend if I were a Mod. Its the kind of power I don't want to have.

There is a fifth dimension, beyond that which is known to man. It is a dimension as vast as space and as timeless as infinity. It is the middle ground between light and shadow, between science and superstition, and it lies between the pit of man's fears and the summit of his knowledge. This is the dimension of imagination. It is an area which we call the Twilight Zone.

I fixed them as soon as I saw them this morning. They were not there last night. Do you expect me to never sleep? If so, fine, screw it, have my mod status pulled if that is what it means. I have to sleep just like any human. (Keep in mind that I am in a very different time zone than you.

In fact, Yesterday morning, I removed a large number of junk threads... if you look, there will be a big jump after a few non-sticky posts from 2011 to early 2010. There is a lot of junk there; this could take a while.

As for the lockdown, from what I have been told by Topcat, it is coming soon, and it will be a mod-only lockdown.

Hey, easy man- I was only asking if the lockdown was going to happen as it would be a job less for the mods, didnt mean to upset anyone.

I see... It came off sounding like I was being being accused of not being an adequate FAQ Janitor...

Just as an update and Announcement:

The FAQ cleanup project is complete. No more 10+ pages of Bull covering the 2 pages of quality threads.

Cool. Next thing on the list should be older posts about Chemi-con KZG. Any dated posts saying they are reliable should be removed or edited (especially from the sticky threads)

Good work.
So you're no longer FAQ janitor? Just regular janitor and super modulator, right?
